Grass-Leaved Bladderwort
The rare species are found at Kaas Plateau, Satara in the western Ghat of India.
Grass-Leaved Bladderwort is a common name of the species and a botanical name of these species are Utricularia Purpurascens, Utricularia Uliginoides, Utricularia Parviflora.  Grass-Leaved Bladderwort is a medium to large-sized, probably annual carnivorous species that belongs to the genus Utricularia. It is native to India and Sri Lanka. Utricularia grows as a terrestrial or sub aquatic plant in marshy grasslands or wet soils over rocks at lower altitudes up to 750 m (2,461 ft). It is also a common weed found in rice fields.
Grass-Leaved Bladderwort is an insectivorous aquatic herb. A height of the species is 5-15 cm tall. The root fibers have small bladders. Linear oblong grass like leaves coming out straight from the roots and 6-10mm long.
Flowers appear on erect filaments like scapes 5-15 tall. Scapes are 2-6 flowered. Slender stalks are 6-8mm long. Flowers are 2 lipped fragrant. A color of the flower is bluish Purple, the upper lip is small and 4mm narrowed at the base. The larger lower lip is deeply convex and 10-15mm or almost circular having bluish purple with a pale purple and veined to center.
